Trailworx was engaged to undertake both trail construction and trail maintenance by multiple stakeholders across multiple trail networks within the 186 hectare Eastern Escarpment Conservation Area.
This included significant single track construction and reconstruction projects, multi-use track construction and reconstruction projects, installation of composite fibre light-weight bridge structures, installation of fauna fence and signage infrastructure. From workshops with riders using adaptive MTBs to preparation of race courses, we have had an active hand in participation with the development of the trail network.
Trailworx was engaged by the Noosa Trailblazers MTB Club to undertake revitalisation of a selection of trails within the Tewantin National Park MTB trail network. A number of critical factors required close attention and integration with existing trails catering for different user groups. In total, seven MTB specific trails were upgraded to meet appropriate rating standards, and completed to provide long-term sustainable outcomes.
Once appropriate solutions were agreed upon, our team of skilled trail builders undertook construction operations to deliver a selection of successful trail upgrades.
Tweed Shire Council enlisted Trailworx for the construction of a dedicated MTB trail network in Uki, NSW. The project began with a thorough review of the existing design and trail alignments. Once suitable solutions were established, our skilled trail builders executed the construction, resulting in a 6.5km network offering trails of varying difficulty levels. In addition to construction, we developed a wayfinding strategy that guided the creation, production and installation of an extensive signage system for the network.
