Trailworx Australia was engaged to design and construct a 250-metre mountain bike trail within the school grounds, transforming the space into a dynamic, purpose-built environment that encourages active use by students.

The trail was carefully designed to cater to a broad range of abilities, incorporating beginner through to intermediate features. This ensures accessibility for first-time riders while also providing progression opportunities for more confident students. Features were selected and constructed to promote balance, control, and confidence, supporting both recreational use and skill development.

Beyond the physical infrastructure, the project delivers long-term value by encouraging outdoor activity and offering an engaging alternative to traditional playground spaces. The result is a highly utilised asset that contributes to student wellbeing and creates a more interactive school environment.

This project demonstrates how thoughtful trail design can unlock the potential of underused school land, turning passive open space into an active, inclusive, and educational resource.
