Delivered for Golden Plains Shire Council, the Bannockburn Bike Park represents a significant addition to the region’s recreational infrastructure, creating a dedicated riding destination within Victoria Park for riders of all ages and abilities.
Trailworx delivered a diverse bike park comprising three distinct riding experiences, carefully designed to support skill progression while providing challenges for beginner through to advanced riders. The result is a highly versatile facility that encourages riders to build confidence, develop their skills and progress through increasingly technical terrain.
The precinct incorporates a dedicated beginner skills track, an intermediate race-style asphalt pump track and an advanced jump line featuring wallride extensions. LED sports lighting to the pump track extends the usability of the facility beyond daylight hours, creating greater opportunities for the community to ride and enjoy the precinct.
Each element has been carefully considered to maximise flow, ride quality, safety and progression, while bringing together multiple riding disciplines within a cohesive recreational destination.
Constructed in partnership with Golden Plains Shire Council, the project reflects a shared commitment to delivering high-quality community infrastructure that supports active lifestyles and creates engaging spaces for young people, families and the wider riding community. The Bannockburn Bike Park stands as a key recreational asset for the growing Bannockburn community, demonstrating the role thoughtfully designed bike infrastructure can play in creating active, inclusive and connected public spaces.
